Internship at GRIM Strategies

GRIM Strategies is a political fundraising and event-planning consultancy that works with Members of Congress, campaigns, and national organizations. Our year-round internship program offers students and recent graduates hands-on experience in political strategy, fundraising, and high-profile events.

Interns play an active role in donor research, event planning and staffing, database management, and fundraising support. You’ll help prepare call sheets, track contributions, draft thank-you notes, and support logistics for major events in Washington, D.C. and beyond.

We look for candidates with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and professionalism. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace is expected, while familiarity with NGP or ActBlue is a plus. Prior campaign or Hill experience is encouraged but not required.

This is a unique opportunity to gain real-world exposure to political fundraising and event strategy while working directly with Members of Congress, senior staff, and donors.
